My recent stay at the York B&B was a wonderful experience. The room was spacious and comfortable, and the staff was very welcoming and helpful. The breakfast was delicious, and the location was perfect. I was able to walk to nearby attractions, such as the York Minster, with ease. One of the finest Guest Houses in York! Bed & Breakfast Guest House accommodation close to York city centre North Yorkshire UK The Apple House is a no smoking Guest House & is Children friendly and dog friendly – Conveniently situated for coastal roads, North Yorkshire Moors, Dales, & the Knavesmire York Racecourse and just five minutes walk from Platform one of York Railway Station.

A very warm welcome by Danielle and Tarquin Qin who have many years experience in welcoming guests to York in their bed and breakfast guest house. Helpful and attentive at all times with nothing being too much trouble. Every guest is treated as an individual and made to feel special, whether a first time visitor or a regular, whether staying for a weekend or a main holiday.

CANCELLATION POLICY

~~Cancellations made more than seven days before the day of arrival will not incur any charge~~.
~~Cancellations made within seven days but not less than 48 hours before day of arrival will incur the cost of the first nights booking~~.
~~Cancellations made within 48 hours or in the case of a ‘no show’ will incur the total cost of the stay~~.
You can cancel your booking anytime before 6PM the check-in day. But please make the decision as early as you can if you have to.
You are advised that holiday insurance is recommended in case of cancellation due to illness or adverse weather conditions making travelling difficult.

  Can't recommend this place enough! Very charming, attentive hosts that go way above and beyond caring for their guests. Also a very short walk into town for those able.

Highly recommend staying long enough to take advantage of the breakfast. It's rare to get anything more than bread and cheese these days, but here you'll get a home cooked meal. If in York again, we'll be staying here for sure.

  Weekend break
The guest house is a lovely old building.The host is so helpful and lovely. Very clean and wonderful breakfast.Very close to York sites and plenty of Shops, pubs and restaurants close by. Free parking as well. Only downside was the Bathroom wasn't secondary glazed so cold and Traffic noise. Even with the door shut you could still hear the traffic, I am a light sleeper though. This hasn't put me off though and I would stop here again. Great value for money

The Apple House is a lovely B&B which I would definitely recommend. Danielle and the other staff who we met were so friendly. It’s in a great location with a free car park!   A little gem
We spent 3 nights here enjoying a weekend break for my birthday. We chose this B & B based on reviews we had read and we were not disappointed. It was clean and comfortable and in a super location - an easy walk into the centre of York. Our room was nicely furnished and a warm haven in a very chilly December. The breakfasts were just right, hot and nicely cooked and served with a smile. We liked the organised breakfast routine and could not remember having such a warm welcome immediately on arrival. The staff and owners could not do enough. I even got a little birthday present and card! Will definitely return when we next come to stay in York.

This is a lovely cute hotel right in the centre of York (behind The Premier Inn on Blossom Street). Large free car park where you are allowed to park for the day after your stay too. Garden area if you have kids. We had the vegetarian breakfast which was superb plus continental available as much as you like.Danielle is super friendly, always has a smile and is very welcoming.  We booked the small double which is ok for 1 night but we will book the standard or larger double next time.Lovely warm room with temperature control.Very quiet area and has a bus stop right outside or a 15 min walk into the centre with pubs (Wetherspoons) and lots of takeaways along the nearby road.Plenty of tea, coffee etc & mini bathroom supplies provided.We will definitely be returning.   Lovely little guest house
This is the second time we have stayed at the Apple house  and loved it both times.Its within walking distance from your town centre and has free parking so no need to worry about the car, the staff are lovely and can not do enough to make your stay a pleasant one.Rooms are clean with a lovely selection of tea, coffee, hot chocolate and biscuits.Breakfast is pre ordered the day before but has been very nice on both stays.
