Seth Barrett2022-12-30Can't recommend this place enough! Very charming, attentive hosts that go way above and beyond caring for their guests. Also a very short walk into town for those able. Highly recommend staying long enough to take advantage of the breakfast. It's rare to get anything more than bread and cheese these days, but here you'll get a home cooked meal. If in York again, we'll be staying here for sure.

1964julie2023-03-08Weekend break The guest house is a lovely old building.The host is so helpful and lovely. Very clean and wonderful breakfast.Very close to York sites and plenty of Shops, pubs and restaurants close by. Free parking as well. Only downside was the Bathroom wasn't secondary glazed so cold and Traffic noise. Even with the door shut you could still hear the traffic, I am a light sleeper though. This hasn't put me off though and I would stop here again. Great value for money
rachel87512022-12-20A lovely B&B The Apple House is a lovely B&B which I would definitely recommend. Danielle and the other staff who we met were so friendly. It’s in a great location with a free car park! The breakfast was delicious and they catered for my dietary requirements. We would stay here again on our next visit to York.
lizhewlett2022-12-12A little gem We spent 3 nights here enjoying a weekend break for my birthday. We chose this B & B based on reviews we had read and we were not disappointed. It was clean and comfortable and in a super location - an easy walk into the centre of York. Our room was nicely furnished and a warm haven in a very chilly December. The breakfasts were just right, hot and nicely cooked and served with a smile. We liked the organised breakfast routine and could not remember having such a warm welcome immediately on arrival. The staff and owners could not do enough. I even got a little birthday present and card! Will definitely return when we next come to stay in York.

Jadie A2022-11-26Highly recommend! This is a lovely cute hotel right in the centre of York (behind The Premier Inn on Blossom Street). Large free car park where you are allowed to park for the day after your stay too. Garden area if you have kids. We had the vegetarian breakfast which was superb plus continental available as much as you like.Danielle is super friendly, always has a smile and is very welcoming. We booked the small double which is ok for 1 night but we will book the standard or larger double next time.Lovely warm room with temperature control.Very quiet area and has a bus stop right outside or a 15 min walk into the centre with pubs (Wetherspoons) and lots of takeaways along the nearby road.Plenty of tea, coffee etc & mini bathroom supplies provided.We will definitely be returning. Danielle is a credit to the hotel.

Kellie G2022-11-14Lovely little guest house This is the second time we have stayed at the Apple house and loved it both times.Its within walking distance from your town centre and has free parking so no need to worry about the car, the staff are lovely and can not do enough to make your stay a pleasant one.Rooms are clean with a lovely selection of tea, coffee, hot chocolate and biscuits.Breakfast is pre ordered the day before but has been very nice on both stays.
