Dog seized at North Yorkshire property following concerns for the animal’s welfare

A DOG has been seized by police at a Ryedale property following concerns for the animal’s welfare.Police officers attended an address on Sycamore Avenue in Malton on Tuesday morning and seized the dog.A police spokesperson said: “This followed several reports of concern for the dog’s welfare from members of the public.“This matter is being investigated by the RSPCA with support from the police.“We are aware that it has created upset in the local community. We ask that it is left to the appropriate authorities to deal with.”
