Pair got ‘sadistic thrill’ by setting dogs onto badger and killing it, says judge

Two “sadistic” dog owners who set their pets onto a badger have been jailed for 40 months and banned from keeping any animals. York Crown Court heard the badger died in the incident on a North Yorkshire farm.
