“No matter how you play, at times the most important thing will always be getting the win. That feeling for the fans, for the players, sitting in that dressing room at five o’clock, there’s no better feeling. In the first half I didn’t think we were anywhere where we needed to be, we had some nice little spells and obviously a cracking goal. Credit to our back four and the goalkeeper, because they were resilient under a huge amount of pressure, but we were too lethargic in our defending and too sloppy on the ball. The second half, I got stuck into a few at half-time and the response that I got was immense. People were at it, people were pressing and people were intense.
