Singers brave Great North Swim and hope to hit high notes for grief charity

SEVEN hardy women are preparing to take the plunge and swim one mile in England’s largest lake to help support people who are grieving. The swimmers from Pocklington, fondly called the Blue Tits, are taking on the Great North Swim on Saturday, 14 June – and say they are feeling in ‘fine fettle’.
